Welcome to the forums.

Is rural medicine your central purpose as a physician? Does your family live in a rural area of New Jersey?

Not necessarily, but I have had lots of experience working in rural communities. Not sure if I want to commit fully yet, but am definitely interested in working with underserved populations (Latino, URM). No, I am from a suburban area of NJ.

You should receive many interviews from your list. Add Johns Hopkins (free tuition).
Is my list too top-heavy? Should I add more baseline schools besides Hopkins, or even remove some of my schools (UPenn, Harvard)?

You could also add UMass and UVM if you want to stay on the East coast.
