Graduated in 3 1/2 years as Class Valedictorian. (Relatively small school)

ECs aren't that great compared to what ive seen on here.

  • 20-30 hours for Habitat for Humanities hours

I will soon start a post-bac position at the NIH where I hope to get more clinical hours if possible.

Planning to add 2 more to the list so suggestions would be great.
Soooo….what are my chances?

I think you can remove Columbia and Baylor. Columbia is too much of a reach and Baylor is mostly IS. A few more lower-mid OOS-friendly schools might be useful, like Albany, Tulane, EV, Ros Franklin, UVM, Wake Forest, Tufts might be worthy additions.

Ok, I took off Columbia and added Wake Forest. May add Tulane and im debating on Tufts. Thanks for the advice. Do you think I have a shot at the other schools?

You'll do fine.

Thanks for the encouragement back then. Ive submitted apps and most secondaries but still feel like I don't have the best odds with my MCAT. Do you think there is anything else I could be doing to boost my chances, more EC's..doctor shadowing?

You are going to be fine. Pay attention to writing good secondary responses.

Thank you for the words of encouragement! I'm just at the NIH and every pre-med here has incredible stats which makes me second guess my competitiveness. Fine-tuning my remaining essays and hoping for the best.

Let us know when the II's start rolling in!
