Non clinical volunteering: 2000 hours with significant local impact
Sorry, I can't take your word for it. Describe the community and describe your impact. You might be overestimating your impact by dropping "2000 hours" without telling us the responsibilities.

You also need to show us you care for people not like you and that you are comfortable around uncomfortable people. Not sure you have this.

Yes you're wasting your money applying to Stanford with a 509 MCAT unless you can describe how your "impact" prepares you for med school at Stanford. How can you have close ties to so many of the UC schools (Davis, Irvine, Riverside)?

Several of your schools are unrealistic with your MCAT scores of 508 and 509. I suggest these schools with your stats:
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Albany
Penn State
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
George Washington
Georgetown
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
Wake Forest
Methodist (when it opens)
NOVA MD
Belmont
Alice Walton
TCU
Tulane
Creighton
St. Louis
Ponce (St. Louis)
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola
Rush
Medical College Wisconsin
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
Roseman
California University
Loma Linda (if you fit their mission)
Kaiser
the UCs
For DO schools I suggest these:
WESTERN
TUCOM-CA
TUNCOM
AZCOM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
DMU-COM
CUSOM
PCOM
NYITCOM
Touro-NY

@Mr.Smile12 (sorry for ping it's not letting me quote what you said!) just realized you also asked about my close ties haha so I'm adding this on alongside my long reply before^^, long story short I live in one of those three cities you named, did research/volunteered at one of the UCs you named and the last one is pretty much 90% of my family lives there. feel incredibly lucky to have ties to these areas but not sure which ones count as ties and which ones don't? thank you so much for all of these questions it really helps me out a lot
I'm understanding if you're dodging doxxing yourself, but think: which one of those communities did you have that huge impact? Or is it a completely different place? Is it your hometown? College town? I'm asking because if I were at a school located farther away from that community, why would I value your experience making an impact there? (You have another thread going, so I'm trying to stick to one thread for now.)
