Hello

Please do not quote, thank you.

I would appreciate some help with my school list for the next cycle, and also areas that I need to improve upon in the next few months.
  1. cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS: 3.97/3.94
  2. MCAT score(s) and breakdown. 518 (132/125/130/131)
  3. Clinical - 350 hours
  4. Research experience and productivity - 1100 hours
  5. Non-clinical volunteering - 300 hours

More clinical hours and more hours at the food pantry would be useful. I suggest these schools with your stats:
Commonwealth Geisinger
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
Pittsburgh
UPenn
Dartmouth
Brown
Tufts
Boston University
Hofstra
Einstein (free tuition)
Mount Sinai
Columbia
Cornell
NYU (free tuition)
Georgetown
George Washington
Duke
USF Morsani
Emory
Vanderbilt
Washington University (in St. Louis)
Northwestern
Western Michigan
U Michigan
Mayo
Cincinnati
Case Western
Ohio State

@Faha Thank you so much for your list, greatly appreciate it. A couple of followup questions, if you don't mind. What do you think of the below schools?
Harvard
Stanford
UCLA (Spanish - will it help?)
UVA
UMD
Vermont
Miami
USC Keck
Iowa Carver

Also, is it worth applying to stat loving Washington? 125 CARS :(

Harvard and Stanford are reaches but the others are fine. Washington University likes high stat applicants and has a high interview rate.

Do you recommend Brown for people who did not attend Brown for undergrad? I've heard they recruit heavily from their own alumni?

Hard to eval whether you have a shot at these programs without knowing more about your app. Your activities are great for an undergrad going straight through, but they're sparse for someone a few years out of school. The 125 will likely hold you back if you're not bilingual/immigrant. Spanish will help anywhere in CA, especially at USC.

I can't make more focused recommendations on your school list with this info. But your metrics are good enough that you'll be considered at most places with a strong app. So instead focus on putting together a compelling app.

Thank you so much @MD_Maker. SHope to bring my clinical hours to 1000 by application time. I have a poster presentation and am in the process of writing a paper. I'm Asian, so does that help explain the 125 a bit? FLs were much better, the actual test ugh.:( Mission is to work with the underserved, specifically the Hispanic community.

Doesn't, unfortunately. Work with hispanic community could be a strong focus, depends how it turns out.
