Worried about GPA MCAT discrepancy, getting screened out due to low sGPA. I can write meaningfully about my activities and feel confident about writing my personal statement. Any suggestions would be appreciated on what else I can do during my gap year and also on a potential school list.

Thanks!

Include if you are interested

In my opinion, your clinical hours also feel light; maybe I just need more details about what you are doing as a volunteer. I'm also not sure you have service orientation community service activities; lots of academic activities with mentoring, grading, and working on your department/major committee on DEI topics. Your music interests also show up in your activities. I don't see how you are stretching yourself to commune with those unlike you who need social services.

You should accumulate 150+ hours of non clinical volunteering such as food bank, homeless shelter, etc. before you submit your application. Otherwise, you could be screened out at some schools. I suggest these schools with your stats:
Toledo
NEOMED
Wright State
Ohio State
Cincinnati
West Virginia
Arizona State University School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering (when it opens)
Texas A&M University School of Engineering Medicine (when it opens)
