Looking at somewhat similar threads I know my chances are not good, but I would still like feedback so that I can improve myself.

Stats:
Major: Biology
Cumulative GPA: 3.64
Science GPA: 3.46
MCAT: I have not taken the MCAT yet, but I'm planning to study hard over the summer and take it early July. I acquired a 27 on a Kaplan practice test so I'm hoping I can get somewhere in the low 30s on the real deal.

Volunteering:
Five months volunteering at a soup kitchen about 4 hours per week.
Five months volunteering at a hospital about 4 hours per week.
Twenty hours campaigning for a local mayor.
Biology club member for one year, and biology club treasurer for one year
Member of the Democrat club for 1 year.
One week non-medical Mission trip to the Appalachia region of Kentucky, where I helped repair a house.

Shadowing:
Two cardiologists for 40 hours, was able to observe in an office and surgical setting.
A gastroenterologist for 35 hours.
A family care physician for 15 hours.

Research:
One semester doing non-medically related research.

Work:
Two years as a general and introductory chemistry tutor, helped set up labs as well.

Letters of Recommendation:
I have four letters of recommendation. Two from science professors, one from a cardiologist I shadowed and one from my spanish professor. I have a good reputation amongst all the professors and think all letters will be good to excellent.

Schools:
I am an Ohio resident, and so am applying to every school in Ohio. Hopefully the extra schools in Ohio will allow me to get in somewhere!
These schools are:
Ohio Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
Boonshoft School of Medicine
Northeast Ohio Medical University
University of Toledo College of Medicine
University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
The Ohio State University College of Medicine
Case Western Reserve University College of Medicine

While I have seen some vaguely familiar applications to mine stat-wise, my application is not exactly like those other applications, and thus I decided to post to get an evaluation of my individual application. My biggest worry is my lack of extracurricular activities. I am attending a branch campus in the middle of a cornfield. There appear to be limited opportunities to get unique ECs or even any at all. Feedback on either my chances or advice on how to acquire meaningful ECs would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for your reply. As one additional question, I know that the hours of the volunteering are slim, but is it still possible to fix by around August to where I could apply this coming cycle? Thanks a ton again.
