Hello all! 2 questions:
1) What are my chances at these schools?
2) Do I need to add more schools? I already have 42

Application Breakdown:
- 3.9 cGPA, 3.85sGPA, 515 MCAT (Re-took from 511), CASPER 4Q, Preview 9
- 4 mid author publications, 1 abstract, 1 submitted first author pub
- taking two gap years as a CRC at a T5
- Clinical: 3000 hours (CRC, medical language interpreter, hospital volunteering)
- Non-clinical: 300 hours (Habitat for humanity, tutor underserved students)
- Research: 2000 hours (CRC, basic science lab, 2 clinical research labs, research intern at medtech startup)
- Shadowing: 200 hours
- Leadership: 500 hours (coached youth sports, founder of student org, frat leadership)

My primary was verified early and I am receiving secondaries right now. However, I retook the MCAT on June 14th and won't get a score until July 15th. I pre-wrote all 42 secondaries, and I am currently submitting. The only school that told me that they will delay is Wake Forest.

My first score was a 511 (for context). I already submitted to Einstein, Mich, NYMC, and Vermont.

received Miami, Hofstra, Northwestern, Cornell, Sidney Kimmel, Tulane, Suny Downstate, Rochester.

Will schools begin evaluating my application before my second score? Do we just not know the answer to this? How...

Did you get your new MCAT? If you are over 30, you have applied to too many schools.

@Mr.Smile12 So what are your thoughts? I am open to add more to this list given that I have the time.

Without knowing any more details, I would focus on preparing for interviews. If writing more secondaries helps you, I suppose you can spend the money. Most of us in advising have found that applicants will tire out. Many who run through secondaries very quickly tend to write less than optimal responses. With genAI available, adcoms can be more skeptical, even if someone pre-wrote every secondary essay well before the application process began. If you have the resources and support, you are likely fine.
