I am applying to both MD and DO schools. I graduated in 2024 as Neuroscience major.
I have:
- 7040 paid clinical hours
- 230 non-clinical volunteer hours at the Crisis Text Line
- 2 research jobs for a total of 1.5 years (no publications sadly, affected by COVID and mostly did data collection)
- recipient of 2 scholarships (1 merit and 1 related to global work) and was inducted into 3 different leadership/honor societies
- 112 shadowing hours (Consult Liaison Psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, long-term care, TMS and all with MD/PhD)
- Magna Cum Laude
- involvement in a cultural group
- in a sorority

What are my chances of MD? and DO? any school suggestions as well?? thank you! I also am considering getting more clinical volunteer hours, but wasn't sure if that was as needed considering all of my clinical hours.

You must have 150 hours by submission of food distribution, shelter volunteer, job/tax preparation, legal support, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation; you show zero hours, which puts your application at great risk of getting screened out.
