Summarize any concerns you have
My main concern is that I do not have a bachelors, which is why I chose to apply to these two schools. I started out at UC Davis but due to personal and family issues (covered in my explanation statement) I returned home and continued my schooling at community college. I took 2 gap years to obtain most of my experience. Then went back to school to finish the rest of my pre-reqs.
-My cumulative is due to my Davis GPA 🙁 but I hope the upward trend of my grades outshines that
-I also do not have much LA experience due to location.
Thank you all in advance!

The VAST majority of schools do not require a bachelors degree, just as long as you have the prereqs finished. If there are other schools that you prefer to apply to over Midwestern and ASU, you’d likely be eligible to apply if your prereqs match, especially with a high GPA. I think UC Davis might be the only one in the US that even requires a bachelors degree unless a newer school has required one as well.

thank you, you're absolutely right! I should have mentioned i have only done the pre-reqs for these two schools :cat:

75-80% of pre-reqs do overlap. I don't want to come across as saying you're missing the mark by any means; you've done pretty well! But if you can apply to these two schools by merit of the classes you have taken, you are likely able to apply to others. Particularly in the case of Midwestern, it's the most expensive school in the country. So if you're able to get in anywhere else, it would be to your benefit

Like bats said, I would definitely check and see if there are other schools you meet the prereqs for and consider them too. Midwestern is incredibly expensive and if you’re able to go somewhere less expensive, it’s worth looking into. Usually the schools that are less expensive for OOS students or ones where you can change residency to get IS tuition after the first year are competitive and often take students with a high GPA, which imo you do have a pretty good one especially last 45.
