- 3.03c 2.82sc in undergrad. 4.0 MS degree (Systems Medicine at Georgetown, 30 BCPM credits)

- 1000+ hours as ophthalmology tech, 1000+ as care staff at in-patient facility for abused teenage girls, 400+ as neurology tech
- 300+ hours of undergrad research doing novel drug development, 200+ hours grad research in variant curation for Myeloid Malignancies (2 pubs and 1 poster)
- 40 hours mixed MD/DO shadowing, mostly primary care, also cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, hospitalist
- volunteer: 150+ hours Crisis Textline responder, 200+ hours teach early morning Bible study class to high school students, ~15 hours Hypothermia outreach to homeless population in DC, ~30 hours Director of Operations for org that donates derm/dental products to homeless population
- other: Founded and emcee a Slam Poetry club in community, VP of program club in MS degree, humanitarian trip leader for teenagers to TX and TN, mentor new employees in my role at Qualtrics,
- awards: "Excellence in Academic Achievement" and "Excellence in Leadership and Community Service" in MS degree
- Context: Got married young and then divorced in undergrad, huge factor in poor undergrad performance. I'll be 29 years old at matriculation. Now remarried (different person) in a strong and healthy relationship and my wife is planning to attend law school, we are applying together, so there needs to be a realistic option for law school nearby (30-40 mins at most). I'm also wanting to prioritize schools that emphasize service to underserved populations, and any scholarly track etc related to health justice is a big plus for me! Also I'm a reapplicant, and applied to 8 schools last year before MS degree (repeats on this list = Gtown, GWU, Quinn, MCW, OHSU)
