You have a shot at MD programs. DO youll get a number of interviews and several acceptances IMO unless of course you have some undisclosed red flag or interview terribly. Med school lists arent my fortè lol I will have to page @Goro and @Faha for this as they know best

I suggest these schools with your stats:
All 4 SUNYs
Albany
New York Medical College
Hofstra
Einstein
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Seton Hall
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
George Washington
Georgetown
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
NOVA MD
TCU-UNT
Creighton
Loyola
Medical College Wisconsin
Western Michigan
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
For DO schools I suggest these:
UNECOM
NYITCOM
Touro-NY
PCOM
LECOM (all schools)
MU-COM
DMU-COM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
AZCOM

You have very good activities and MCAT; GPA is the weak link but with a well aimed list you should have success with MD. Your SUNY schools are your best shot. But make sure to also apply to Hofstra (they like high MCATs), Einstein, NYMC, Albany, Rochester (they like research) in NY.

Otherwise Faha has suggest good schools for you.

  • I believe I have a good story of why I want to become a physician that ties into everything I have been doing these past couple years, sorry I am not super specific in describing activities, just for anonymity reasons. I received a C- in Orgo and later retook to get an A and also have a strong upward trend junior & senior year (including in upper level sciences).
I suggest the following schools, but =invest in MSAR and delete those where your GPAs are < their 10th %iles.

Any rising GPA trends?

Sinai
UCSF
Pitt
USC/Keck
UCLA
U MI
Rochester
Hofstra
Dartmouth
Western MI
ALL SUNYs
Brown
Albert Einstein
Emory
Tufts
NYU-LI
Jefferson
Miami
SLU
U VM
GWU
Gtown
Wake
Tulane
MCW
Temple
NYMC
Albany
Netter
VCU
EVMS
Seton Hall
NovaMD
TCU/UNT

I concur with wise Faha's list, but add:
CUSOM
ALL Touros
VCOM
CCOM (but watch tuition!)

Thank you! And yes, strong upward trend junior & senior year

Add Wayne State to the list!
Thank you! Quick question, will I be automatically yield protected from lower tier MD or DO schools because of the higher MCAT score? Or will they take into account the lower GPA?
