I am a nontraditional, first generation student making a career change from respiratory therapist to medicine. My primary interests are in pulmonology and emergency medicine. While getting my bachelor's degree, I worked part time on night shift. I'm hoping that will be taken into account for my low MCAT and GPA. No one in my family has gone to medical school so I've had to try to figure out everything on my own. As I still work full time, I'm trying not to have a bloated list of low yield schools to apply to.
