Remove schools such as Cornell, Duke, U Virginia, Mount Sinai, U Michigan since your GPA is less than their 10th percentile. Also remove Rutgers and Stony Brook since they prefer their own residents. I suggest these schools:
BU
Case Western
Hofstra
Emory
Dartmouth
Temple
Vermont
Brown
Tufts
U Cincinnati
UMass
U of Pittsburgh
U of Rochester
Jefferson
U of Colorado (state bias...)
Albert Einstein
Add these:
Quinnipiac
Albany
Seton Hall
Drexel
George Washington
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
NOVA MD
USF Morsani
Miami
TCU-UNT
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College Wisconsin
Western Michigan
Oakland Beaumont

Thank you very much for your help! I'll use this list to update my school list for sure!

Do you think there are other parts the application that you think should be improved before applying? I tried to cover some weaknesses from the last cycle but I'm afraid it might not be enough.

Did you apply last cycle with 0 non-clinical volunteering hours? The additional 50 hours should help but you should try to bump that up to at least 100.

Sorry for the late reply! Yeah, stupidly, I didn't realize that it was counted as a separate category from clinical volunteering last year. I'd ideally like to, but both locations have downsized since March due the pandemic but I'm hoping to go back once it's safer to do so.

Interesting. I guess the hospital volunteering checked two boxes. It doesn't seem like you changed your application too significantly since last year, but given the 2 IIs, you are probably still competitive. Make sure you have a strong "why medicine" narrative in your application because from first glance, you appear to be a strong PhD candidate.
