Hey Guys,

I hope you all are doing well. I just wanted some advice on my application and to see what I need to do to improve. I currently have received one II from an Out of State school but I would like to see how to improve my application if I need to reapply. I am currently a reapplicant for the 2024-2025 cycle. Here are my stats listed below. Any and all advice would be much appreciated.
  1. Cumulative Gpa - 3.81; Science GPA: 3.79
  2. MCAT: 128/126/129/132 (Total Score 515)
  3. ORM
  4. Texas Resident
  5. 2000 Hours as an ER Technician. 2000 Hours as a Medical Assistant
  6. 400 Hours working in a Addiction Lab; No Pubs or Posters
  7. 500 Hours Volunteering at my local religious denomination. Helped serve food to homeless and worshippers over the weekends.
  8. 1000 Hours being a TA. Was Head TA for a Biology Course. Was in charge of Office Hours (if professor was absent), Lecturing to 250 Students, Managing a team of 30 TAs, and having 1-on-1 TA sessions with Students.
  9. 480 Hours - Powerlifting; Was part of my school's powerlifting team and helped organize meets for competitors from the city I reside.

I'm sure for TMDSAS you should be in a good spot. No clue about your mission fit or purpose as a physician since you don't give much detail about it. Did you grow up in a rural part of Texas? How much have you done to inform yourself about the TMDSAS process?
