- Anticipate v. strong LORs from PIs as well as a resident that I mentored. Strong narrative on teaching in medicine both residents and patients. My area of research involved talking to a lot of physicians about the profession as well as talking to patients about QoL and improving healthcare delivery, disparities research
- I know that community volunteering and clinical hours are quite low, but I hope to demonstrate that I have had significant exposure to medicine through my research. I have also maintained consistent focus on working with underserved youth through my PhD work, paid employment, and other activities.
- #1 choice by far is Michigan, but I'll also apply broadly in SE michigan. I have a family and don't intend to uproot us.
- I feel like a strong applicant, but I am really gunning for Michigan so looking for areas to improve by next cycle.
