Hey everyone, looking for some advice on my school list!
IL resident ORM - T10 private
3.68 cGPA 3.78 sGPA, 521 MCAT (130/131/130/130)
Applying as a junior but am graduating this year so 1 year early
Research: 1800 hours (650 cardiovascular lab, 900 ophthalmology lab, 250 economics lab -> I'm a bio & econ major)
Clinical Volunteering: 240 hours across 2 hospitals working in the emergency department
Nonclinical Volunteering: 300 hours (180 as part of university dining hall food-recovery club, 50 at a local soup kitchen, 30 at feed my starving children, 30 in minority health clinics) -> I'm pretty passionate about food security
Shadowing: 113 hours (orthopedics, ophthalmology, renal pathology, oncology)

Preliminary list I made: clearly very top heavy. Am I competitive for these schools? Any advice is much appreciated!

- No poster or oral presentations

- Teaching: running my own AP biology and AP chemistry tutoring classes for high schoolers
