You are fine to apply in June and do not need to retake the MCAT. I suggest these schools with your stats:
Eastern Virginia
Virginia Commonwealth
U Virginia
Virginia Tech
West Virginia
George Washington
Georgetown
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
Hackensack
Einstein
New York Medical College
Albany
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Dartmouth
Carle Illinois (you fit their profile)
Oakland Beaumont
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola
St. Louis
Creighton
TCU
California University
East Tennessee
NOVA MD
Wake Forest
Belmont (when it opens)

Please don't take the MCAT. I'd be interested in your PREview/Casper results. You also should add more non-clinical community service when you can, so more hours in the respite center or similar.

I'm guessing you don't want more military to be part of USUHS? :)

Thank you both for the info. Are CA schools a long shot at this point? I will be moving to the Bay just before submitting my application and will be looking to stay if at possible (strong family ties).

Re: USUHS - both USUHS/HPSP still in consideration at this point!
CA schools are difficult even for CA residents with a MCAT of 511.
