I finished my PhD a few years ago and I’m planning to apply to MD programs this cycle. Any help would be appreciated!

    550 hours of clinical volunteering. Split between inpatient and outpatient. Expecting another 200 hours between now and matriculation
  7. Research experience and productivity
    Lots of research, 25+ publications
  8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented
    120 hours across allergy, nephrology, urology, med onc, rad onc, pathology, and neurosurgery
  9. Non-clinical volunteering
    250 hours as leadership role in patient advocacy organization
    100 hours at homeless shelter
  10. Other extracurricular activities
    A few editorial roles for journals and conferences
    Was an RA during undergrad
    Some club sports, marathon running

    PhD was in a STEM field but work was applied to cancer research. Since then I’ve been working as a research scientist in a clinical department
