Honestly not sure what I'm doing at this point - my sibling has had several health scares in the past few years including a bout of cancer and some other unrelated hospital visits so I feel like my attention has been somewhat scattered since 2022. Probably just making donations to schools, but I figured I'd just shoot my shot and see what happens - hoping my research experience looks nice and that my non-clinical volunteering isn't an automatic app-killer. All advice appreciated!

Your low non clinical volunteering hours (30) will limit your chances for interviews at top tier schools.

Ideally you should have 150 hours of service orientation activities (like your food bank work) at the time of submission to avoid getting screened out. What is your purpose as a physician?
