Metrics are great, but I don't see non-clinical volunteering in the original profile. At least nothing identifiable as activities involving community service orientation (food distribution, shelter volunteer, job/tax preparation, transportation services, housing rehabilitation). One should have 150 hours to avoid getting screened out at most medical schools, but 250+ for the "brand school" application pool which the OP aspires to play in.

Hi, thanks for the input. I already submitted my primary application but do you think my Korean school volunteering would involve community service orientation? I also volunteered with my school's hearing board where I discuss cases for violation of student code of conduct. I admit I did not seek any of the experiences you mentioned because I thought I committed to community service in other areas. Thank you for your time!

They are both academic, not community service like food distribution, shelter volunteer, job and tax preparation, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation. What is done is done, so we'll see. It's important to have domestic activities in the community (not on campus) since you have international activities.

ADDING: If you are Korean, then it's great you are giving back to your own community. You have opportunities to serve others or "show a commitment larger than yourself." Are there other opportunities where you alleviate others' distress?

Teaching is an academic competency because it allows you to share your knowledge with others.
