Post-bacc gpa (65 units of science classes, all A's in last 40 units): 3.65

Did economics in undergrad (did not try to get good grades during this time, hence the low overall cGPA) and did DIY post-bacc consisting of community college classes for prereqs and UCSD extension for upper-divs.

497 (126/121/125/125)
506 (126/127/125/128) - retake

3. State of Residence:
California.

4. Ethnicity/Race:
Pakistani-American (ORM male).

5. Undergraduate Institution:
UC Davis

6. Clinical Experience:
200 hospital volunteer hours.
200 hours as an EM scribe (by the time i apply).

7. Research Experience:
4 second-author publications (~800 hours).

8. Shadowing Experience:
100 hours (including PM&R MD, Interventional radiologist DO).

9. Non-Clinical Volunteering:

1000+ hours with non-profit. Focused on community service and supporting underserved populations (refugees mental health + helping enact legislation to improve their lives).
500+ hours volunteering for local mosque.
300+ hours giving free tutoring + advice to transfer from community college to university to those in need.

10. Other Extracurriculars:
Fitness (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Weightlifting)

11. Other Important Info:
Career switcher with a compelling story rooted in purpose and service.
Strong upward trend in GPA after initial struggles.
