MD & DO WAMC/School List Advice

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Your lack of clinical volunteering will limit your chances for interviews. You also have several OOS state public schools that accept few non residents with a MCAT of 507 and no connection to the state. There are also schools on your list that prefer applicants with a large number of clinical and non clinical hours. You are competitive for the DO schools on your list. I suggest these MD schools from your list:
Ohio State
University of Toledo
Wright State
NEOMED
University of Cincinnati
Drexel
Oakland
Albany
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College of Wisconsin
Wayne State
Temple
Penn State
Seton Hall
Indiana
You could add these MD schools
Quinnipiac
New York Medical College
Jefferson
George Washington
NOVA MD
TCU-UNT

Gotcha, thank you! Just another quick question. During my gap year when I plan to do more volunteering, would you recommend doing more clinical volunteering or non-clinical volunteering?
