You should increase your shadowing to 40 hours before you submit your application. Your complete lack of non clinical volunteering will limit your chances for interviews. Some schools screen at 150 hours for non clinical volunteering so you should accumulate 150+ hours in activities such as food bank, homeless shelter, etc. before you submit your application. I suggest these schools if you have those hours:

My non clinical volunteering is 1000 hours of working with the underserved community in Orlando volunteering with a youth golf program. And thank you!

Have you connected with medical school officers of SNMA at the schools you want to enroll in? Are/Were you a part of MAPS? Are you part of any mentoring organization dedicated to supporting aspiring Black physicians?

To strengthen your chances, you should have more shadowing (50 hours total is enough). I need more information about other clinical exposure you have had, but showing some more depth in primary care (pediatrics, geriatrics) and some specialties would help you.

You must have 150 hours of service orientation activities before applying: food distribution, shelter volunteer, job/tax preparation, legal support, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation.

I was the president of MAPS at my university
I have clinical experience with optometry/opthomology and
,pediatrics including neurology and pulmonology

I am continuing my shadowing in various specialties in the coming months.

Thank you for your advice!
