Reapplicant: Had completed my application for TMDSAS last cycle around August and had four interviews with no match. Current cycle as a reapplicant I began my MPH program, scribing, and research along with adding more non-clinical volunteer hours.

So far I have applied to all of TMDSAS and am completing secondaries right now with the goal of finishing next week. I applied through AMCAS to TCU and have been verified. I want to add more schools to both AMCAS and AACOMAS but I'm unsure as a TX resident.

For DO schools you could add any of these:
OSU-COM
CUSOM
TUNCOM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
DMU-COM
MU-COM
NYITCOM
Touro-NY
For AMCAS schools you could add Tulane and Belmont.

Your earlier submission this time should help, but what are the other differences since last application?
Was your initial application very low in clinical hours and/or community engagement volunteering?

Since the last application, I added ~ 100 more community engagement hours. I also added more clinical hours by starting to work as a medical scribe and continuing as a hospital volunteer. I wouldn't necessarily say my clinical hours were very low last cycle, but I do feel like I didn't have anything significant to say about them last cycle, especially compared to now. I would also point out that last cycle I had no research at all, and in all four interviews I was asked if I had any research experience, which was quite awkward to explain 🙃.

Also, I was wondering if it is known how much weight Texas schools place on current activity hours from now until October? I know in TMDSAS we put the hours up till October, so on TMDSAS it seems like I have more hours than what I have on the post (I shared my AMCAS hours).

What feedback did you get? How did you show mission fit with the schools you interviewed?
I reached out to a few schools, and a lot of the feedback I got was for research. One advisor for a school I met with suggested scribing or an MA job, too.

Hours you have already achieved will be of more significance but if you continue on you can mention it in secondaries or interviews
