Hey everyone, no my post title isn’t wrong. I had a 0.57 GPA my freshman year of college before I joined the military for a decade to grow up. I’d like some help with my school list as well as WAMC.
State: Florida
Biographical info: white male 30s
GPA: 3.7 cGPA, 3.6 sGPA after I took 10 years off
3.3 cGPA total, 3.4 sGPA total
MCAT: 498 1st attempt last year. 504 (125, 126, 127, 126) most recent.
Non-clinical volunteering: about 3,000 hours coaching kids and mental health or veterans outreach
Clinical volunteering: about 2,500 hours as a volunteer EMT
Clinical work: 10,000 hours as an ER Tech
Shadowing: 100 hours
Research: 50 hours with one that was presented by a surgical resident at a conference
Leadership: Army for 8 years and was supervisor at volunteer EMS gig
Hobbies: Hockey, recently won a National Championship (non collegiate, disabled veteran division)
LOR: 2 strong MD, 2 strong DO (medical director and assistant medical director), 1 Orgo prof, 1 non science professor, 1 military commander
