I need some help deciding if I should apply this cycle without retaking my MCAT. Please help me make my school list for both MD and DO schools.

General Stats:
-3.88 gpa, 3.8+ sGPA
-MCAT: 506 (128/123/127/128) disappointed because it was 6 points below FL averages
-State of Residence: CA
-4 very strong LoR, (1 sci, 2 humanities, 1 PI)
-ORM
-First generation

Clinical volunteering/experience/shadowing:
-400+ hours volunteering at a childrens hospital
-120 hours as a scribe in ER
-50 hours shadowing internal med, 8 hours in orthopedic surgery

Nonclinical Volunteering:
-80 hours local foodbank
-80 hours with making seniors aware of issues with aging (I didnt teach it, I helped out with the program)

Leadership:
-500 hours on executive board for health club advocating for universal health care

Research:
-300 hours as data entry (not very impactful but something nonetheless)
-1000 hours at a research institute, (projected to have 1500+ hours at time of applying, 1 low author publication, 1 first author)

Misc.
-Got paid to teach K-12 math to kids

Rush

Wayne State
Netter
SLU
VCU
EVMS
Hackensack Meridian

Loma Linda (only if you are SDA or a very devout Christian)
Loyola
MCW

WVU if from the Appalachians
UCD
UCR IF from the Inland Empire
Any DO program. Include PacNW I can't recommend LMU, ARCOM, RVU, Nova, BCOM, ICOM and LUCOM, for different reasons. Avoid those new schools that haven't graduated a class yet, if at all possible.

I suggest these MD schools with your stats:

TCU-UNT
Tulane
NOVA MD
Wake Forest
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
George Washington
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
Seton Hall
Albany
New York Medical College
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Oakland Beaumont

Also apply to DO schools and I suggest these:

AZCOM
TUNCOM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
DMU-COM

Do you have any reasons why you recommended Jefferson, Quinnipiac, and Saint Louis? Just wondering since they have an average MCAT of 514 for matriculants.

Do you have a school list you would recommend based on my statistics? How many DO schools do you recommend I should apply to?

St. Louis likes applicants with high GPAs. A high GPA such as your 3.88 compensates somewhat for a below average MCAT.

What do you think I gave you???

I recommend a total school list of 25-35. Any more than that and you'll burn you're self out.
I meant a DO school list. Sorry about that. Also, what ratio of MD/DO schools do you think I should apply to? I was thinking 15 MD, 10 DO. Should I apply to more DO schools?

For DO schools, I suggest:
PacNW
Both Westerns
Touro-CA
TUNCOM
AZCOM
SOMA
KCOM
KCU
UIW
DMU
ACOM
CUSOM
MUCOM
VCOM
NYITCOM.AR
KYCOM
WVSOM
NYITCOM
Touro.NY
LECOM-E
LECOM-B

Pick 15 of the above, especially the five on the Pac Coast, and ten cheapest after that
