WAMC/School List Help (Mid Stats)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You could receive interviews at some MD schools, with some of the Florida schools as your best chances. I suggest these schools with your stats:
U Florida
Florida State
Central Florida
Florida Atlantic
Florida International
NOVA MD
Miami
USF Morsani
Wake Forest
Belmont
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
George Washington
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
Albany
New York Medical College
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Oakland Beaumont
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin
Ponce (St. Louis)
TCU
Roseman
Methodist (when it opens)
Also apply to DO schools and consider these:
LECOM-Bradenton
NOVA
ACOM
CUSOM
WVSOM
PCOM
MU-COM
DMU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
KCU-COM
AZCOM
VCOM
You would benefit from more shadowing and clinical volunteering hours so accumulate as many as possible before you submit your application.

Creighton , Loyola, SLU and I think Tulane place heavy emphasis on service to the underserved and those in need. They also expect heavy clinical exposure. They expect, and get, hundreds if not thousands of hours from their applicants. Your hours in both are barely meeting the minimum for all schools let alone the service focused schools.

Be aware that many schools will average your multiple MCAT scores.

Have you started writing your PS and other essays? You should start those very soon if you haven’t.

Good luck.

Should I avoid applying to Geisinger for the same reasons?

I am working on my PS but haven't touched the other essays yet.

I Don’t know about Geisinger. But you got your list from a great source(@Faha). Maybe you should post the list you developed from your research and other issue(location etc) and people on here can add or subtract based on knowledge and experience.

Creighton, Loyola, St.Louis and Tulane are looking for applicants with many hundreds or thousands of hours of clinical and non clinical volunteering/employment. Your MCAT is too low for an OOS applicant for Western Michigan. Geisinger admits few applicants with no connection to the state or region.
