Anything else not listed you think might be important
I think I have done a good job writing about my experiences and crafting a cohesive application. I am in the process of finalizing my school list (have to wait to see how this MCAT comes out) but I am really curious about how well I'm balancing reach schools and hearing about any schools I should take off my list or consider applying to. When looking at schools I want to prioritize student culture/wellbeing (not cutthroat, don't want to be around it) and affordability in terms of aid and the cost of living. I intend to pre-write as much as possible and I'm willing to apply to a lot of schools to minimize the risk of having to go through this hell-scape of an admissions process again. Here's my prospective list:
Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine
Emory University School of Medicine
Vanderbilt
Case Western Reserve
Albert Einstein School of Medicine
Ohio State University College of Medicine
University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
University of Colorado School of Medicine
University of Maryland
University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine
Saint Louis University School of Medicine
Rutgers School of Medicine (RWJ)
Cooper Medical School
University of Pittsburgh
University of Cincinnati
University of Connecticut
Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine
University of Virginia School of Medicine
Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine
Wake Forest
Tulane Medical School
Weil Cornell
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center
Pennsylvania State University
Again, I'm super interested to hear about any schools I should consider adding or removing. Also, any potential issues in my application that are correctable before this cycle starts. Thanks in advance!
