Would appreciate some advice on my amcas school list, if you think I should add or remove certain schools. My current list is at the bottom and I've included other info about my app as well.

Clinical experiences: about 2100 hours across various things (CHW, MA, Scribe, etc) also more hours planned for throughout the cycle (lots of experience with underserved communitites)
Research: about 800 hrs

MD Shadowing: 100+ hours

Leadership (officer of club, etc): about 200-300 hrs

Tutoring/Mentoring: about 200 hrs

Have not taken preview, took casper waiting on school

MCAT Breakdown: 508 (127/126/126/129)
GPA I put in title, and it is a little low for a TX ORM, that is because of C's on my transcript from ochems and physics lab 🙁

Recognitions/Awards: Scholarship for undergrad (nothing huge just for a year and not a significant amount), Dean's List, Americorps service

Please be brtually honest so I don't end up uneccesarily paying thousands of dollars on schools that I dont stand a chance at.

Yes

What did you do for Americorps?

OOS MD schools interview few Texas applicants since they know from years of experience that Texas applicants will attend a Texas school. For AMCAS schools you could try TCU, Tulane and Belmont. You could also try any OOS DO schools and you are competitive for all DO schools with your stats.

You might take Duet for a few Texas schools, so what is your mission fit and learning environment preferences? Where did you grow up in Texas?

Schools to consider removing:
Charles Drew (HBCU unless you attended one for undergrad)
Loyola (unless you have 600+ service hours and/or have lived experience in underserved communities)
Rush (unless you have 800+ service hours and/or have lived experienced in underserved communities)
Wright State (5000+ OOS applications, 25 matriculated from 14? states according to MSAR)
UIC also includes campuses in Peoria and Rockford and OOS tuition is $30K higher than IS tuition.
