- Research experience and productivity - 670 hours total - one year research lab work - Freshman Research Initiative, 8 weeks paid summer research internship at UT lab . 7 weeks paid summer research internship different city college lab .
- Shadowing experience 70 hours in Primary care and Pediatrics
- Non-clinical volunteering 100 hours community volunteer at food banks, 30 hours working with the homeless taking BP, glucose screening. 120 hours as community hospital volunteer - worked on the stroke/cardio floor, answered patient call button, restocked supplies, prepared telemetry strips, brought items to patients, assisted nurses. 20 hours volunteering in schools to get girls interested in STEM.
