Hey y'all, I'm aiming to do 30 schools. If you have feedback, would appreciate it. One thing of note is that I'm applying with my sister who ended up with a 505 (similar GPA and ECs) and if I have to leave texas, I'd rather go to a school we're both competitive for. I have some options closer to my MCAT but I'd like to keep at least 5-6 closer to her range.

600 hours Non-clinical volunteering
Please describe. Rush likes applicants with a few hundred more hours of non-clinical community service, so it's important if you can fulfill that expectation. Your MCAT may still not be enough, but you could get some consideration if you grew up in a relatively low SES part of Chicagoland.

What support do you have from your prehealth advising team?

I have 800 hours with my local religious institution (serving food banks, organizing fundraisers, and child-care), my pre-med org, and a charity org. I didn't grow up in Chicago. I'm mostly applying because I visit frequently and have family there.

my pre-health advising team will write me a committee letter if that's what you're asking.
