I'm not sure what the average GPA is for UCLA IS students, but you possibly might be on the lower side, but not entirely sure. As for your red flags, any reasons why there are 2 Fs and 3 W's? Freshmen year? Do you have an upwards trend and can explain why to an admissions committee why you think you can handle the rigors of dental school?

Great job on the DAT! That will definitely help. Good luck this cycle, wishing you the best!

They were in the beginning of my undergrad career and definitely had an upward trend after all that. I was able to maintain that trend too. I could explain why ill be able to handle the rigors of dental school

I did apply to other schools and had 4 interviews so far. The bad grades were in the beginning of undergrad. I have an upward trend after all that

Hard to say - just gotta wait and see but I think you have a chance. Our averages have hovered around a 23AA/23TS/22PAT and around 3.7X for both oGPA and sGPA. What were your classes that you got F's and W's in? Did you retake them? Also, do you have a letter from a dentist?

be happy with the 4 interviews you have so far
trust the process...

The W's were in a history and sociology and I retook sociology and got a C. The F's were in english and math and i retook them and got A's in both classes. and I do have a letter from a dentist. I think it was a strong letter and was added to the committee letter because it was sent as a packet.

I didn't too well in two of them and felt like I did alright in one of them. I still have the other one coming up so im just focusing on that and trying to learn from my mistakes on the other ones!
