I plan to purchase all The Berkeley Review MCAT books except the Verbal and Writing. This list would include:

Biology I and II
General Chemistry I and II
Organic Chemistry I and II
Physics I and II

I planned to purchase new directly from the company, but seeing as how their customer service is absolutely horrible, I would rather just purchase from someone else and not have to deal with them all together.

At this point if you have the verbal to go with it, I will purchase that as well.

I do not want an old set as I have heard there have been updates to the Physics books (as well as verbal). I don't mind them being used, I just don't want writing/markings all in them.

If you have any you would like to get rid of, I can pay through PayPal ASAP.

Thanks guys,

I fully get that bad customer service can be a turnoff, and I walked away from buying a stereo years ago because the salesman was a complete *$$^&!%. That decision was based on a personal interaction.

I'm curious how you've reached your conclusion about poor customer service. There are some posts here complaining about it, but many of those if you follow them through to completion were people ordering over a holiday or wondering why if they sent a check on Monday morning that they didn't have the books by Wednesday. There are several posts talking about the nice phone calls and helpful advice. It's anything but a perfect system and there are problems, but I think your conclusion and statement without actually having been a customer is a bit harsh.

The inconvenience of having to mail the order in is a pain compared to being able to click and order (like Amazon for instance), but even then you have to wait for the order to be shipped. Given that you posted this on February 20 and it's now 8 days later, the pragmatic thought is that the process of ordering may be archaic but it's really not that bad to wait a couple days for your order to arrive there via the mail.

I have ordered a set from them twice, and both I had a bad experience. First time, I called and called and called, no answer. Finally, they answered and did they were on vacation, which is OK, but why wouldn't your answering machine have that update on it? Second time, similar issue, I called and called, no answer, and there was no excuse for it the second time. Now, I have to admit, once you do eventually get them to answer the phone, they are really really nice and helpful, but getting them to answer is a major issue, which in my books is bad customer service.
