Ok, I'm back again with another question.

For anybody who already applied or is currently applying for the Pharmacy Intern License in the state of Washington. Are we supposed to submit a picture of ourselves (refer to page 13 on application pdf, which is actually page 1 of the actual application part that we submit) or does that only refer to applicants that had a "Previous Licensure" (i.e. pharmacy technician).

I really hope that picture is "optional", cause it's such a pain to go out and get my picture taken.

Picture is required for techs, interns, and pharmacists. It has to be taken within one year. The easiest place to get your passport picture is Costco. It costs $4.99, takes about 5 minutes and you get two copies. Hope that helps.

Hey, are we supposed to apply for the WA state pharmacy intern license by ourselves (right now? so fast!)? Or can we wait for whatever place we'll work at to help us do it?
If the WA state pharmacy board doesn't have the students' names yet, should we still just send in these intern license applications??

Well, I've been working on the application, it's not that bad, just download the pdf file from the WA state board of pharmacy (there's only 2 pages to fill out I think, the rest is all instructions), there's a link on the school's page. And the school should be submitting our names to the board anytime now (after they receive all of our signatures, deposit, and transcripts), so there's nothing else that you really need to wait for.

I'm doing it now, cause I'm trying to get a summer internship.

Does anyone know how long it usually take to actually get the intern license after turn in the application form? Thanks!!

Hey Bao.

Wow- you're super duper fast! I'm trying to get an internship also but I'm waiting to finish a class that ends in June 🙁 I hear it takes like 2 weeks to get your license after UW sends your info in.

Have you secured any internships yet?
