Hey all!

I have been accepted into several OT programs and I am stuck between WashU in St. Louis and University of Illinois Chicago! I am a Spanish major going to college near Chicago but I am from New York.
I visited both schools and were impressed with both of them, I like WashU's esteemed program and the fact that nearly all students would be out of state. They seem to have a lot of good resources and nice facilities, I would make lots of connections and have lots of opportunities. However, WashU is further from family, is less diverse, and has less of a Spanish speaking population than UIC. UIC has a unique commitment to social justice, which is important for me, and they have a diverse program and opportunities to work with Spanish speaking communities. However, the program is not quite as esteemed as WashU, it is a public school so facilities are less extensive, and the majority of students are in-state, meaning there would be less people in a situation like mine.
Does anyone have any helpful advice for me on this?

Hi! I'm just wondering what you ended up picking and why you decided that? Also, how you like the program you ultimately picked.
