I feel like i am wasting my time with this, but do you guys really sit down and memorize:

examples of temprate deciduous animals: mice, chipmunk, racoon, squirrel, woodchuck, deer, fox, wolf, mountain lion.

examples of monocots: grasses, wheat, corn, rye, rice, sugarcane, pineaple, iris, banana, orchids

I know sometimes there are major ones like dicots are mainly fruits and vegetables, but most of them don't have "major" species, I'd rather spend my time studying some human phys. but plz let me know thanks

I know, i am not trying to be lazy or anything, just wanna utilize my time the best way possible, i just heard the bio section is now more about figuring out stuff rather than spitting them back out, but if they're important i will take te extra time to memoriz, that's why i asked, thanks for the input

This was my least favorite part of studying but it must get done. I hate taxonomy. I had one taxonomy question on my DAT I believe.

i wouldn't recommend memorizing THAT sort of information yet, unless you are sufficient in all other aspects of biology shown on the ADA site. but i do agree with therealsquat, you'll do what it takes. there is simply TOO much information in biology and there can be more details in something that you already study. I recommend nailing all the parts of biology that you MUST know and then slowly move to taxonomy and plants, which are pose like 1-2 questions of the bio tests.

I would highly recommend remembering all the climates and examples within each. Even if its just for 1 question on there, in the end it will be the difference between a 22 or 24.
