Hi,
I understand from Waterloo's website that they do not discriminate between different provinces/universities with respect to Optometry admissions. However, I was talking to a representative from the Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists and she told me that different provinces purchase seats in the Optometry program. What gives? I'm a bit worried about this because Saskatchewan has a small population and so the competitive level of the applicant pool might vary wildly from year to year. Also if Saskatchewan marks are inflated, that would increase the average I need to be admitted. Does anyone have information on this?
