Way of sending more than 4 lors through ERAS

I was told to replace 2 uploaded lors with 2 new lors. In this way, the program can read 6 lors instead of 4. Is it true? Is there any risk that I may drop two more important lors?

I don't know if that would work, but don't you think that they put the limit at 4 for a reason? Otherwise there would be some folks out there sending 10 or more. Also, after four letters (my dean recommended sending only 3), just what are the additional ones going to add. Sure, you can try replacing the LOR, but I doubt it would be of much help or that anyone would read them.

Hmm, that's true. Thanks for the reply. The reason I asked about this is that I am applying for Cali programs and I just wanted to add one more lor to the ERAS as the PTAL takes one lor position. I may be doing tedious but unimportant things.🙂
