Hey all,

I'm doing a 1-year program to enhance academic credentials, but am having a hard time deciding

Is anyone familiar with Michigan Physiology or Wayne's BMS? I'm not sure if the program at the University of Michigan has any linkages. But I've heard the one at Wayne is looked upon highly by its medical school.

Any of u guys done any of these programs?

I've had several friends do BMS with positive results. Michigan's Physiology program is more of a graduate program (entry into PhD, for example) than a record enhancer.

I've heard similar things. Do Michigan schools look upon BMS very highly?

I think Wayne does if you get at least 20 credits in

Yes. I don't know how far that influence extends beyond those schools, though.
Michigan's Physiology program isn't a program that you would do just for the sake of getting into med school, it's a conventional graduate program. so it wouldn't really help as much as BMS, which is a record enhancer.

Are there any SDNers who have done either Wayne's BMS or UM's MS in Physiology?

What are the pros and cons of each? It's so hard trying to decide between them.
They're also very proximal too. It's basically Detroit vs Ann Arbor/
