I am interested in going to Wayne State University and wanted to get some insight to their program. It looks as though they only look at you prerequsite gpa, is that correct? How is the admissions process? Any advice for future applicants?

As far GPA and other criteria for acceptance is concerned, I think only the board knows that sort of information. The year I applied they received around 120 applications. I was informed that 60 would receive interviews. I was one of them. After interviews they narrowed the 60 down and accepted 30.
