I think RC is probably not a big issue for most people, but it is for me since English is not my first language. I did 15 on my DAT, and I usually can't finish all the passage on time. I really need to show the improvement for this part. Most study books probably emphasize heavier on science and PAT, and I think I need to do more reading problems. Any suggestion for what practice material I can use? Feel free to tell me any other way to improve RC, too. Thanks so much.

hmm...Reading novels is a very correct way to improve
but forget to mention, I plan to retake DAT in either Dec or Jan
I am not sure how much I can improve by reading novels, but I think I will do that for couple hours a day (half, one, or two probably)
Thanks for you advice!

Examcrackers 101 verbal passages seems really hard. I took mine end of July and got a 16 on RC and planning on retaking end of October mainly b/c of that section. MCAT verbal seems to be very different from DAT reading section but should I keep studying with the book? I really need to get above at LEAST a 18.

I read a lot of novels, but some of those abstract questions on the RC is a major headache.
The 101 passages by Exam crackers.
Does it have a lot of those "what is the tone of the author?", "what is the main point?", "what does this mean?" questions?
hmmm if it does, I think I'll go ahead and buy one.
Thanks!
