Does anyone have an opinion on the Kaplan WebPrep package?

Its a bit expensive for my taste, but I was curious if anyone thought it was a great product.

Alternatives I was considering include just getting the Kaplan review books and Qbank, or just qbank and making deal with the various review books (BRS, Rapidreview, etc) I already have....

Any and all opinions welcomed.

I use the Webprep audio religiously everytime I do cardio. It helped me alot for my last pharm, micro and path exams. I will also listen to it when I do cardio close to the USMLE. Dont know about the other stuff, I just use the Webprep mp3s. And I think they are the best. I also have Gold Standard audio and Goljan, but I use Webprep instead of the others.

Can anyone explain to me how Webprep works? Kaplan came to our school, but I didn't get to see it.

Do you get ALL the Kaplan lectures of Step 1 online, or only specific subjects? If so, which ones?

Can you download the mp3's as stated above, or was that person listening to the lectures via computer while exercising?

Any other thoughts would be great

I have the mp3s where u can download and listen to them on your mp3 player. So I usually listen to Webprep while i run, or I listen to it when I go on long trips in my car.

i think you can get a version of them through ebay or forums. somehow, people have been able to download and copy them.

through kaplan, you get the video lectures online of high-yield videos. i doubt that it is goljan who does it. maybe barone. i don't think that you can get the mp3s from there. i don't know how they do it.

i think that kaplan also has included the qbanks with the webprep. and i think you get the lecture notes as well. check out the kaplanmedical website for more info on that.
