A group a people that have regular jobs during the week and take drugs on weekends. The term may have originated from USA in the late 70's when doctors and lawyers in the Florida area used cocaine and crack on the weekends.

I always thought a weekend warrior was somebody who worked uber-hard all week then on the weekend just hit the bottle and/or recreational drugs. Which is basically college minus the working hard during the week thing.


Not that I, uh, take part in any of that nonsense, potential admissions directors

The weekend warriors that I know are of the military reservist type.

Yea that's what some people call Reservists in the military. Although these days doesnt hold much truth b/c there are tons of Reservists in Iraq/Afghanistan as we speak. But this is the only thing I can think of as well.

Anyways a long time ago i saw a thing about weekend warriors in miami.... and now many wealthy people in cali are partaking in such activities. Ill pass on the drugs though.
