I was thinking about this. For the med students, Princeton Review is the better option out of Kaplan and PR (or at least that's what I hear). It makes me wonder, would it be a good idea for a dental student to look at the PR books rather than the Kaplan Blue Book? I mean you can probably just look at what the Blue Book covers and look at the respective chapters in PR. It might backfire but I mean they (MCAT and DAT) cover essentially the same material, only worded differently.

You can definitely use it to supplement the Kaplan book, but make sure that you do cover everything in the Kaplan book --> there are certain Biology topics tested on the DAT that are not tested on the MCAT (off the top of my head i can think of photosynthesis & plant anatomy/reproduction)

MCAT exam krackers is great for orgo and gen chem. Also, for bio, i'd use the cliff's notes gen biology book. I used both of these to suppliment the kaplan book and definately recommend it.

Hey ya'll. I just started studying for the DAT and I have the Kaplan Blue book and their MCAT books from a friend. I don't know about PR but the MCAT books are definately more detailed than the Kaplan Blue book. I was comparing some of the chapters and the Blue book definately skims over ALOT! I feel like I'm definately going to know the Blue book but also go over alot of the other stuff in more detail. Just my 2 cents.
