I remember during our interview the admissions committee told us to expect to hear from them around Jan. 15th, regarding second round of acceptances. I've been waiting for the phone call all day, or even an email, and haven't gotten anything 🙁 Has anyone heard anything yet? Anyone have any idea of how many seats are left available? Thanks in advance 🙂

Remember that today was the deadline for deposits to be received from the first round. They had to wait for the mail to come, sort through those, figure out how many seats are left, and then they can start the second round. It'll probably be next week. Don't panic just yet. 🙂

You're right. I saw people saying they were getting acceptances from other schools around now so I wasn't sure if Western was one of the schools handing them out. But, I'm sure we will hear from them next week. Just waiting over a month seems like an eternity 🙁 hahaha Thanks!
 
Predent, I know how you feel about the waiting part. Had my interview on October 5th, and had to wait until December 1st to hear back, AND they told us they would more than likely have their decisions made two days after we interviewed.

It's tough to wait, but hang in there and good things will come your way!
 
Dean Koelbl informed us at the interview (1/9) we would hear a week or so after the 15th. Hang tight. We are all in the same boat!
 
I just sent in my deposit last week, i contact hazelle and they say they are backed up in mail from the holiday.

my check hasn't been cashed yet - so they are still working on the first round. you should probably hear by next week, and my seat should get reserved too : D
 
During our interview we were given papers about loans and scholarships and there was a sheet that listed the websites about those programs where you can either serve in the air force or underserved communities and they pay for your tuition. Can anyone provide me those links? Thanks
 
Yeah, I've decided that I'll start freaking out towards the end of next week. hahahaa No one knows how many seats are filled as of now? Last I read, a little over half of the seats were filled with 1st round acceptances' deposits.

Just called admissions - won't be today everybody. Western has a policy of POSTMARKED by the 15th. More than likely you need to set your alarms for a call on Monday. Sorry...I was hoping to hear some good news today as well...

Yep...the 25th should be the day we start hearing something about the second round.

The 25th is when we should start hearing from them. I said Monday earlier, 25th later, and 25th now. Some should start hearing by then, others maybe not.
 
I just spoke with Hazelle and she said that the admissions committee is going to meet this week to finalize on the next batch of acceptances and, although she's not sure, we could anticipate to hear something next week for an acceptance offer. **FINGERS CROSSED** hahahaa
 
its going to be next week because there are still people like me that are interviewing on Jan 25 ,so the decisions will be made after our interview..Ms. Hazelle said that the Jan 25 interview was going to be the last one when she called me to schedule my interview....Wishing everyone that has interviewed good luck and hoping for a positive outcome myself..

After 5 interviews, I finally found a home. Got The Call!!!

lol xpheene it seems as tho me and u have the same luck..

Last year it was SF and now western, I didn't get the call either.

I called the admissions office and they said they're making calls til 5pm. So keep hope alive my friend.

Did the people interview with dr. monehan or azevedo get a call today from them? I am just curious and freaking out.

just curious, has anyone gotten the confirmation email from western yet? Dr. H said we should have received it shortly after the call, but I havent gotten it yet.
