Does anyone in this forum attend Western Carolina's Physical therapy program? or have any knowledge of the school? It is one of the few remaining MPT programs, so obviously one of the big concerns is getting my master's initially vs. my doctorate. Besides that, does anyone have any feedback on: strengths of program, clinical instruction, quality of instructors, male/female class ratio, area of cullowhee, general feelings of the program, etc.

thanks.

I don't go there, but i visited when i applied. They seemed to have a really nice faculty and a good facility. It is an absolutely gorgeous campus if you like mountains. It is very rural. The "town" is little more than a few shops and a small walmart, but Asheville is a pretty easy 1 hour drive away. The faculty were incredibly nice and welcoming. Give them a call and ask about their progression to a DPT. It's been awhile since I was there.
