Hello,🙂
Do Western/COMP accept students out of state? I live in NY
I want to be accepted there because my fiance lives there I used too also, but I moved here with my family years ago. 😛
thank you

they do accept students from out of state however most of their student body consists of students from California. However, they do not say that they favor in state students or not. But, it could be that many out of state students even though they would prefer the school it is a bit on the expansive side.

Most of the student body is from California because California is obsessed with being in California. However, a competitive applicant from any other state will be considered.

What's the best gpa And MCAT score to be accepted there 'especially being out of state'
Thx 🙂

I don't think being OOS means you have to have higher stats than in-state students applying here. It's a private school so there's no particular bias. Overall, I think they average about a 27-28 mcat and 3.5 or so gpa. I'm sure there website will have next years class stats soon too. Good luck to ya!

I went to a conference and the dean hinted they prefer california students because they want us (cali) to give back to our community. But in the secondaries they do ask why cali, so you can mention u lived here and plan on staying here🙂
