Has anyone heard anything from western since the interview date? I think I remember Diana saying we should hear back within 2-3 weeks.
 
I have not heard anything yet. I am thinking they might send the next batch of acceptances/ calls on the day of the Feb 25 interviewees. That was what they did the day we interviewed. I am patiently waiting but it is so hard...Western is a great school and I hope to be part of it...
 
Ohh same here, havnt heard anything, and still patiently waiting.
 
Has anyone called them to inquire about the number of available seats?
 
i did like 2 weeks ago, couldnt get a response.... someone else wanna try?

anybody heard anything yet..its been a month since we interviewed..as this week goes by I have been calling Ms Hazelle but i cant get in contact. I didnt leave any messages tho....my nights are becoming sleepless lol
 
I talked to Hazelle a couple of times. Basically we just have to wait and see. The people that recieved their acceptance letters on January 25th have 30 days to pay their deposit. I believe their 30 days will be up tomorrow. At that point the admin coms will tally up the available seats and give out more acceptances according to availability.

The only thing we can do is just wait and hope...I guess its a good sign that we havnt been rejected yet.
 
haven't heard anything, i tried to call a couple times, noone picked up and they haven't returned my messages. super stressed, its getting late in the cycle and i am already looking to apply again.
 
i havent heard anything either..I have been calling too but no one is picking up..i guess my sleepless nights continues....i wonder what could be going on...
 
I was told that we are not going to be hearing anything until the week of March 1.
 
I suppose all we can do is just wait....sigh.....well good luck everyone. Lets keep each other posted.
 
Good luck guys, I was there a month ago and I know how the days seem like years.
 
From what I heard, the class is now full after the last wave of acceptances and they'lll be sending out alternative letters on friday.

I interviewed there last week and Dr. Henson gave us a presentation in the morning and he specifically said that we were there because spots were still available and we were not interviewing for the alternate list. So maybe Friday will be the day they send out more acceptances. Keep your head up everyone.
 
Please dont tell me the class is full already 🙁
 
omg..i cant believe the class is full...Silvery Hair where did you get your info from ?
 
My friend (D1) asked diana and she said the class was full, and we should wait for people to drop out with the second deposit coming up soon (a month).
 
Im rescinding my acceptance tomorrow. So thats one spot open for sure!

I am on the alternate list. Got the news in the mail today and also their alternate is not ranked. Im going to ucsf in the fall so it doesn't matter anymore but it's nice to have an answer finally. Good luck to ya'll!

any news guys?....I interveiwed February 26th and am waiting to get a response. Imna go crazy.
has anyone that has interveiwed after january got the call yet?..
 
I heard through the grapevine that the class is full as of now. It's possible that some people who had sent in deposits will withdraw and they will call from the alternate list - there's no telling though when or how many people would get the call. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news....
 
Interviewed 1/8, waitlisted 3/12. I'd assume that as the others have stated, the class is full, and come the second deposit deadline, there may be more spots open.

If the alternates are ranked, and the list is long, how would they select whom to take off the list when spaces become available?

um... probably by the same standards as if they decided if you were originally accepted or not?
 
The second deposit is due April 15 I believe, maybe some spots will open up then.

I was in the Jan 25th Interview and am an alternate. Anyone know of deadlines coming up or people choosing to no longer attend Western? Please respond!
 
I turned down my offer last week so hopefully one of you guys will get in!!! good luck to everyone!!!!
