For those that attended Western's interview, how was it? What's the best way to prepare for the behavioral questions? How many questions do they normally ask?

The interview was good. It was everything I expected. I would suggest looking at interview feedback and also just take some time to recall your work/internship/college experience. Try to remember specific things and events that demonstrate traits schools desire. I was asked like 3-4 questions. Good luck!

I'm a current student, and we have fantastic faculty and staff at WesternU. The interview I had there was very relaxed and felt just like talking to a buddy (I had Dr. Maeda). This was the opposite of my SCCO interview, which felt like the two interviewers were staring into my soul the whole time, and really grilling me with questions.

Again, it's all behavioral questions, so more like "when have you helped a friend in need?" than "describe your business model for your future optometric career."

I'm 1st year at Western. A couple days before my interview, I googled behavioral interview questions and just went through them in my mind. I was prepared for every question just by doing that. It was like talking to a friend that wants to know all about you.
