So for that day how are we supposed to be dressed? Im guess not like an interview.... please be specific because i have no idea if u say semi-formal.

And another question probably every one is wondering about... If we attend that day, are we more likely to land an interview since we showed interest in the school?

While I'm not sure exactly what you should wear since I didn't go to the preview day, I am a Western dental student and we have a dress code of business casual (anything from khakis and a polo to dress pants and a tie). I don't think it would hurt to wear khakis and a nice button up shirt if you're a guy or a skirt and a nice top if you're a girl. Might as well start making that good impression early.

I think (just my opinion - I haven't heard this from the adcom) that anything you do that shows interest in Western will be in your favor. From what I hear, they sometimes have a file with your name once you show interest. If it's between you and another applicant who didn't come to the preview day and you guys look exactly the same on paper, you would be more likely to get the invite since you've shown interest already. I say it couldn't hurt your chances!

you have to go to the western U website and sign up for it. it's in the last weekend of august. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but I suppose it's a walk-through of westernU.

When is preview day?
I went on their website and tried to apply...but it said the preview day was full.....they will be setting up another day i think.....u can request info from them and they will let you know when the next preview day is

I've been to the preview day last year. It's business casual. I went with Khaki and a polo and only a few students really dressed up. It's a fairly large crowd, so if you do tell them your name - most likely they will not remember it.

The preview day is for them to showcase their school and tell you why you should apply and/or go to their school. Check it out if your nearby.

thanks for the tips yall 🙂
